Description

These homemade 3-Ingredient Mounds Bars combine sweetened shredded coconut, condensed milk, and chocolate to create a chewy, chocolate-coated treat reminiscent of the classic candy bar.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, stir together the coconut and condensed milk until it forms a sticky, cohesive mixture.
  2. Wet your hands and shape the mixture into 12 small logs, placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Freeze the logs for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  4. Melt two-thirds of the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Once melted, stir in the remaining chips until smooth.
  5. Use two forks to dip each frozen coconut log into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
  6. Place the dipped bars back on the parchment and chill until the chocolate hardens.
  7. Once set, the bars are ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Wet hands help shape the mixture more easily without sticking.
  • Milk or white chocolate can be used instead of dark for a sweeter taste.
  • Freeze logs thoroughly before dipping to maintain shape.
  • Store in fridge or freezer for longer shelf life.
