Description

These 3 ingredient brown sugar cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with warm caramel flavor. Made with just butter, brown sugar, and flour, this no-fuss recipe comes together in minutes for the perfect quick treat. No chilling, no mixer—just pure cookie bliss!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened or melted)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon or vanilla extract for extra flavor
  • Optional: 1–2 teaspoons milk if dough is too crumbly

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix brown sugar and softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in flour until a soft dough forms. Add a teaspoon of milk if needed to bring the dough together.
  4. Roll into 1-inch balls, place on prepared baking sheet, and flatten slightly with your hand or a fork.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are just golden.
  6. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For a sweet-and-salty twist, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking.
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or press a thumbprint and fill with jam or Nutella for variation.
  • Use dark brown sugar for a richer, deeper flavor.
