Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for the glaze)
- 2-3 tbsp milk or cream (for the glaze)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Fold wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
- Gently fold in diced apples and melted butter.
- Drop batter onto the prepared baking sheet using a spoon or scoop, forming small mounds.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
- While baking, whisk together glaze ingredients in a small bowl.
- Drizzle glaze over slightly cooled fritters and let it set before serving.

- Add chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts for extra crunch.
- Try maple syrup in the glaze for a twist.
- Increase cinnamon or add cloves for spicier flavor.
