Description
This quick and spicy buffalo chicken flatbread is the perfect appetizer or weeknight dinner, featuring tangy buffalo sauce, creamy blue cheese, and melty mozzarella on a crispy flatbread base.
Ingredients
- 2 flatbreads or naan
- 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
- 1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup blue cheese dressing or crumbles
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp light olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Lightly brush flatbreads with olive oil and place on a parchment-lined sheet pan. Bake for 5 minutes to crisp.
- Spread buffalo wing sauce evenly over flatbreads.
- Top with chopped chicken and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Drizzle or dot with blue cheese dressing or crumbles.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are browned. Optionally, broil for 1–2 minutes for extra golden cheese.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with sliced green onions, and add extra buffalo sauce or blue cheese if desired.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Use ranch instead of blue cheese for a milder flavor.
- Swap flatbread with pita, pizza dough, or mini flatbreads.
- Add roasted veggies or plant-based chicken for a vegetarian version.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in oven at 350°F or use air fryer/toaster oven.
