Ingredients
Ingredients
- 3 squares White Chocolate Almond Bark (melted)
- 24 Pretzel Twists
- Food Coloring Gel (Pink and Black)
Instructions
- Prepare the workspace: Lay out a large piece of parchment paper on a clean counter or table. Select pretzel twists that are flat as they are easier to work with and arrange them on the parchment paper.
- Melt the chocolate: Melt the 3 squares of white chocolate almond bark in the microwave, stirring every 20-30 seconds to ensure even melting without burning. Once melted, gently fill the open spaces within each pretzel twist with the melted white chocolate and allow them to set for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Separate colored chocolates: Turn each pretzel over carefully. Reserve some of the leftover melted white chocolate: place approximately 3 tablespoons into one small dish and 2 tablespoons into another.
- Add color to chocolate: Mix pink food coloring gel into the 3 tablespoons of white chocolate to create pink chocolate. Similarly, add black food coloring gel to the 2 tablespoons of white chocolate to make black chocolate.
- Decorate eyes: Using a toothpick, dip into the black colored chocolate and place two small black dots in the lower open space of each pretzel to form the bunny's eyes.
- Decorate nose and ears: Use a toothpick dipped in the pink chocolate to place a small dot for the bunny's nose in the center lower space. Then fill the two upper open spaces of the pretzel with pink chocolate to create bunny ears.
- Allow to set: Let the decorated pretzels sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes until the chocolate has fully set and dried.
- Serve and enjoy: Once the chocolate has set, your Bunny Pretzels are ready to be enjoyed or served at your festive gathering.
Notes
- Use flat pretzels for easier filling and decoration.
- Melt the chocolate gently in short intervals to prevent burning.
- If desired, refrigerate the pretzels after decorating to speed up the setting process.
- These pretzels can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- You can substitute almond bark with good quality white chocolate chips if almond bark isn’t available.
