Description
Campfire Cones are a fun and customizable dessert that puts a twist on traditional s'mores. Filled with marshmallows, chocolate, and fruits inside a waffle cone, they are heated until gooey and delicious, perfect for camping or home gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 waffle cone
- ¼ cup mini marshmallows
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
- ¼ banana, sliced
- 5 strawberries, sliced
- 10 raspberries
- Optional: Reese’s peanut butter cups
- Optional: Rolos
- Optional: Peppermint Patties
- Optional: Caramel chips
- Optional: Caramel sauce
Instructions
- Place a few mini marshmallows at the bottom of the waffle cone to prevent melted chocolate from leaking out.
- Fill the cone with your chosen combination of fruits, chocolates, and other sweet treats, packing it tightly as the ingredients will melt down.
- Wrap the filled cone completely in aluminum foil.
- Heat the foil-wrapped cone over a campfire, on a grill, or in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes, or until the contents are melted and gooey.
- Carefully unwrap the foil (it will be hot!) and enjoy your delicious Campfire Cone.
Notes
- Use waffle cones for sturdiness and ample space for fillings.
- Be cautious of hot foil when unwrapping.
- Try different combinations of fillings for variety.
- Store leftovers in foil and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in foil at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
