Description

Cheesy Chicken Garlic Wraps are flavorful, easy-to-make wraps filled with tender chicken, gooey mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, and a bold garlic taste, all wrapped in a soft tortilla and pan-crisped to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Cook the chicken in the skillet for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips and return to skillet, tossing to coat with garlic.
  6. Lay tortillas on a flat surface. Divide the chicken mixture evenly among them and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Fold the sides of each tortilla over the filling and roll tightly.
  8. Return the wraps to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy and cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Try adding sautéed bell peppers, onions, or spinach for extra veggies.
  • Add sliced jalapeños or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Use different cheeses like cheddar or pepper jack for variety.
  • Make it a bowl by serving the chicken over rice instead of in a wrap.
