Description
Cheesy Chicken Garlic Wraps are flavorful, easy-to-make wraps filled with tender chicken, gooey mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, and a bold garlic taste, all wrapped in a soft tortilla and pan-crisped to perfection.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 flour tortillas
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Cook the chicken in the skillet for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips and return to skillet, tossing to coat with garlic.
- Lay tortillas on a flat surface. Divide the chicken mixture evenly among them and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Fold the sides of each tortilla over the filling and roll tightly.
- Return the wraps to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy and cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
- Try adding sautéed bell peppers, onions, or spinach for extra veggies.
- Add sliced jalapeños or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Use different cheeses like cheddar or pepper jack for variety.
- Make it a bowl by serving the chicken over rice instead of in a wrap.
