Description

These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a quick and satisfying 25-minute meal made with tender chicken, melted cheese, and a creamy garlic sauce wrapped in a golden tortilla. Perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, or a cozy lunch. Family-friendly, flavorful, and endlessly customizable!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add the cooked chicken to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir and heat through.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheese until smooth.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and fold the chicken mixture into the cheese blend.
  5. Lay out tortillas and evenly divide the chicken mixture. Top with remaining cheese. Fold and roll tightly.
  6. Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Cook wraps seam-side down for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Slice wraps in half, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce for a spicy twist.
  • Mix in sautéed veggies like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
  • Swap cheeses for a new flavor profile—try pepper jack or Monterey Jack.
  • Whole-wheat or gluten-free tortillas work great for dietary preferences.
  • To reheat, use a skillet or toaster oven for best texture.
