Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the cooked chicken to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir and heat through.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheese until smooth.
- Remove the skillet from heat and fold the chicken mixture into the cheese blend.
- Lay out tortillas and evenly divide the chicken mixture. Top with remaining cheese. Fold and roll tightly.
- Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Cook wraps seam-side down for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
- Slice wraps in half, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
- Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce for a spicy twist.
- Mix in sautéed veggies like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
- Swap cheeses for a new flavor profile—try pepper jack or Monterey Jack.
- Whole-wheat or gluten-free tortillas work great for dietary preferences.
- To reheat, use a skillet or toaster oven for best texture.
