Description

These Cheesy Sausage and Egg Breakfast Sliders are savory, sweet, and satisfying morning treats made with sausage patties, scrambled eggs, melty cheese, and soft Hawaiian rolls brushed with a buttery maple glaze.

Ingredients

  • 24 ounces of sausage (meat of choice)
  • 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 8 large eggs, scrambled
  • 6 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Warm a large skillet over medium heat. Form the sausage into 12 patties and cook until browned and fully done.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached, and place the bottom halves in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Evenly distribute the scrambled eggs over the bottom buns and layer with pepper jack cheese.
  5. Place the sausage patties on top and add the American cheese slices over them.
  6. Cover with the top halves of the buns.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and maple syrup, then brush over the tops of the buns.
  8. Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
  9. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Drain excess grease from sausage to prevent soggy sliders.
  • Assemble ahead of time and bake in the morning for convenience.
  • Freeze individually for easy reheating.
  • Customize cheese and add veggies for variety.
