Description

Cheesy Taco Sticks are the ultimate comfort food fusion – seasoned ground beef and melty cheese wrapped in golden pizza dough. Perfect as a quick dinner, a game-day appetizer, or a kid-friendly snack, these cheesy taco sticks are quick, easy, and packed with bold flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 5 colby jack and cheddar cheese sticks, halved
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning per packet instructions; let cool slightly.
  4. Roll out pizza dough and cut into 10 rectangles.
  5. Add a spoonful of beef and half a cheese stick to each rectangle.
  6. Roll dough over filling, seal edges, and place seam-side down on the sheet.
  7. Combine melted butter with garlic powder and parsley, brush on top.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly and serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.

Notes

  • Substitute beef with turkey, chicken, or beans for variation.
  • Spice it up with jalapeños or pepper jack cheese.
  • Prep ahead and bake later for convenience.
  • Oven reheating is best for preserving crispness.
