Description

These Cinnamon Sugar Blondies are the ultimate chewy, buttery dessert with a warm cinnamon kick. Their gooey center and crisp cinnamon-sugar topping make them an irresistible treat perfect for any occasion. Plus, they come together quickly using simple pantry staples

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for batter)

Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
  5. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar for the topping, then sprinkle it evenly over the batter.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow the blondies to cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, add 1/2 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts.
  • Want a chocolatey twist? Stir in 1/2 cup of white or dark chocolate chips.
  • Enhance the spice with a pinch of nutmeg or cloves.
  • Drizzle a vanilla glaze over the top for a bakery-style finish.
