Description

A rich and flavorful dish featuring juicy shrimp in a creamy garlic butter sauce served over herb-infused rice, perfect for a quick and impressive meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine or basmati rice
  • 2 tbsp mixed fresh herbs (dill, basil, or cilantro), chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and slightly golden. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, let simmer for 2 minutes, then add Parmesan cheese.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet and coat in the creamy sauce.
  6. In a bowl, mix cooked rice with fresh herbs, olive oil, salt, and lemon juice if desired.
  7. Serve creamy shrimp over herb rice and garnish with chopped parsley.
