Description

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup toffee bits (like Heath bits or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture and mix until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
  6. Fold in the toffee bits evenly throughout the dough.
