Description
A playful twist on classic brownies, these ooey-gooey treats get an unexpected boost from Dr Pepper’s distinctive flavors—cherry, caramel, and spice—making them irresistibly moist and delightfully nostalgic.
Ingredients
- 1 box milk chocolate brownie mix
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup Dr Pepper
- ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, stir together the brownie mix, eggs, oil, Dr Pepper, chocolate chips, and vanilla until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for about 32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely, then lift them out using the parchment edges and slice into squares.
Notes
- Use Cherry Dr Pepper for extra cherry flavor.
- Swap semi-sweet chips for white chocolate, peanut butter chips, or milk chocolate chunks.
- Top with powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream for a special touch.
- Toss chocolate chips in a little flour to prevent sinking.
