Description

A playful twist on classic brownies, these ooey-gooey treats get an unexpected boost from Dr Pepper’s distinctive flavors—cherry, caramel, and spice—making them irresistibly moist and delightfully nostalgic.

Ingredients

  • 1 box milk chocolate brownie mix
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup Dr Pepper
  • ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the brownie mix, eggs, oil, Dr Pepper, chocolate chips, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  4. Bake for about 32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
  5. Let the brownies cool completely, then lift them out using the parchment edges and slice into squares.

Notes

  • Use Cherry Dr Pepper for extra cherry flavor.
  • Swap semi-sweet chips for white chocolate, peanut butter chips, or milk chocolate chunks.
  • Top with powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream for a special touch.
  • Toss chocolate chips in a little flour to prevent sinking.
