Description

This Easy Crockpot Chicken and Gravy is a comforting, no-fuss dish made with just a few pantry staples. It's creamy, flavorful, and perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix chicken gravy packets, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth or water until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
  6. Shred the cooked chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker and stir into the gravy.
  7. If desired, stir in sour cream just before serving for added creaminess.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for extra tenderness and flavor.
  • Substitute cream of mushroom for a different taste.
  • Add frozen vegetables in the last hour for extra nutrition.
  • Great served over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or biscuits.
