This easy homemade taco seasoning is a bold, customizable blend of pantry spices. Made in just 5 minutes, it's perfect for beef, chicken, or veggies, offering a flavorful and healthier alternative to store-bought packets.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 5 tsp paprika
  • 4 tsp cumin
  • 3 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all spices in a small bowl.
  2. Transfer the mixture into an airtight jar or spice container.
  3. Store in a cool, dark place for up to six months.

  • Customize the spiciness by adjusting cayenne and red pepper flakes.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for optimal freshness.
