Description

Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes is a hearty, one-skillet meal featuring juicy steak, crispy golden potatoes, and a rich garlic butter sauce that's both comforting and full of flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1.5 lbs baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and fork-tender, stirring occasionally. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil if needed. Sear steak bites in batches without overcrowding the pan. Cook until browned on all sides and cooked to desired doneness.
  3. Add minced garlic and butter to the skillet. Sauté until garlic is fragrant.
  4. Return potatoes and steak to the skillet. Toss everything together to coat in garlic butter.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and optional red pepper flakes before serving.

Notes

  • Add mushrooms or asparagus for extra vegetables.
  • Sweet potatoes can be substituted for baby potatoes.
  • Enhance flavor with Worcestershire sauce or balsamic vinegar.
