Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp (28g) butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter and add the steak bites. Sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Deglaze the skillet with beef broth, scraping up any browned bits.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and coat them with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Add a splash of white wine when deglazing for extra flavor.
- Sprinkle in red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Substitute sirloin with ribeye or tenderloin for different texture.
- Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach to enhance richness and nutrition.
