Ingredients
- 4 lamb chops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Season the lamb chops with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
- In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, dried oregano, and chopped parsley.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Dredge the seasoned lamb chops in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat them evenly.
- Once the oil is hot, place the lamb chops in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until they reach a golden, crispy crust and the internal temperature reaches 145°F for medium-rare or 160°F for medium.
- Remove the lamb chops from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
- If you like heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture.
- For extra crunch, swap the breadcrumbs for panko.
- Thyme or rosemary can be added for an herbier flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. Reheat in a skillet to keep the crust crispy.
