Description

A quick and flavorful garlic shrimp in tomato sauce dish made with just five ingredients. Ready in 15 minutes, it combines succulent shrimp, fresh tomatoes, garlic, and dill for a bright, comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 3–4 minutes, until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes to the skillet and simmer for 3–5 minutes, until softened.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet, add chopped dill, and stir to combine.
  6. Heat everything through for 1–2 minutes and serve warm.

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp—add them back at the end just to warm through.
  • Optional: add red pepper flakes, white wine, or vinegar for extra flavor.
  • Substitute dill with parsley, basil, or oregano if needed.
  • Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
