Description

These Holiday Cake Mix Cookie Bars are soft, chewy, and festive, made with a cake mix base and a one-bowl, one-pan method—perfect for holiday gatherings or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 1 box holiday-flavored cake mix (vanilla or funfetti variety)
  • 1/2 cup softened butter or 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup festive sprinkles (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, softened butter or oil, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Fold in festive sprinkles if using.
  4. Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
