Ingredients
Honey Butter Ingredients
- 1 cup (16 Tbsp; 226g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 1/3 cup (113g) honey
- 3 Tablespoons (23g) confectioners’ sugar
- 1/4–1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Whip the Butter: In a large bowl, use a handheld mixer or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment to beat the softened butter on medium speed for 1 minute until it's completely smooth and creamy.
- Add Sweeteners and Salt: Add the honey, confectioners’ sugar, and start with 1/4 teaspoon of flaky sea salt to the whipped butter. Beat on medium-high speed for about 1 minute until the mixture is fully smooth. Scrape down the bowl sides with a silicone spatula and continue beating to combine evenly.
- Adjust Seasoning and Serve: Taste the honey butter and add more flaky sea salt if desired, up to an additional 1/4 teaspoon. Serve immediately drizzled with honey or sprinkled with extra sea salt if you like. Store any leftovers tightly covered at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for 2–3 months.

- Honey butter can be stored at room temperature for a couple of days but refrigerate for longer storage.
