Description
Iced Apple Green Tea is a refreshing and healthy summer beverage combining the earthy tones of green tea with the natural sweetness of apple slices, enhanced with optional ginger, honey, and mint.
Ingredients
- 4 cups of water
- 4 green tea bags or 4 teaspoons of loose-leaf green tea
- 1 large sweet apple, thinly sliced

- Ice cubes
- 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and grated (optional)

Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a near boil, then remove from heat and steep green tea bags or loose-leaf green tea (and ginger, if using) for 3 minutes. Strain the tea.
- Add thinly sliced apple to the warm tea and let it infuse as it cools to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
- Stir in honey to taste while the tea is still warm for better dissolution.
- Refrigerate the tea until thoroughly chilled, about 1–2 hours.
- Serve over ice in glasses, ensuring apple slices are included, and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
- Enjoy your refreshing Iced Apple Green Tea!
Notes
- Use sweet or tart apples like Fuji, Honeycrisp, or Granny Smith based on flavor preference.
- Experiment with citrus slices, berries, cucumber, or spices for different variations.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Strain out apple slices if they become overly soft.
