Description

Iced Apple Green Tea is a refreshing and healthy summer beverage combining the earthy tones of green tea with the natural sweetness of apple slices, enhanced with optional ginger, honey, and mint.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups of water
  • 4 green tea bags or 4 teaspoons of loose-leaf green tea
  • 1 large sweet apple, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of honey (optional, adjust based on sweetness preference)
  • Ice cubes
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and grated (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a near boil, then remove from heat and steep green tea bags or loose-leaf green tea (and ginger, if using) for 3 minutes. Strain the tea.
  2. Add thinly sliced apple to the warm tea and let it infuse as it cools to room temperature, about 30 minutes.
  3. Stir in honey to taste while the tea is still warm for better dissolution.
  4. Refrigerate the tea until thoroughly chilled, about 1–2 hours.
  5. Serve over ice in glasses, ensuring apple slices are included, and garnish with mint leaves if desired.
