Ingredients
Ice Cream Base
- 1 cup Fairlife skim milk
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop salted caramel protein powder from 1UP Nutrition
- 1 tbsp vanilla jello pudding mix
- 1 tbsp sugar-free salted caramel syrup
Optional Toppings
- Flaky sea salt
- Caramel sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the mixture: Add all ingredients (skim milk, almond milk, protein powder, vanilla pudding mix, and sugar-free salted caramel syrup) into the Ninja Creami pint container up to the max fill line. Use a hand-held frother to mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
- Freeze the pint container: Place the pint container upright in the freezer and freeze for 24 hours until the mixture is completely solid.
- Soften the container rim: After freezing, remove the pint and run the outside under hot water for 60 seconds. This will loosen the ice cream for easier processing.
- Process in the Ninja Creami: Install the frozen pint into the machine. Press the 'Lite Ice Cream' button to perform the first spin. Remove the outer bowl lid once finished.
- Check and adjust consistency: If the texture appears powdery or crumbly, return the pint to the machine and use the 'Respin' function for a creamier consistency. You may add a small amount of liquid if needed before another respin.
- Serve with toppings: Once desired smooth, creamy texture is achieved, top with optional flaky sea salt and drizzle with caramel sauce if desired. Enjoy your protein-packed salted caramel ice cream!
Notes
- Use code BAILS at 1UP Nutrition for 20% off the salted caramel protein powder.
- Ensure the pint mixture is frozen solid for best results when processing.
- You can add a small splash of milk if the ice cream is too powdery during the respin stage to help achieve creaminess.
- Optional toppings enhance flavor but keep overall calories low if omitted.
