Description

This No Bake Oreo Dessert is a layered chocolate dream with a buttery Oreo crust, creamy cheesecake filling, chocolate pudding, and fluffy whipped topping. It’s an easy, crowd-pleasing dessert that requires no oven and minimal prep—perfect for parties, potlucks, and summer get-togethers.

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (16 oz) tub whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip), divided
  • 2 (3.9 oz) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • Chocolate shavings or crushed Oreos for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into a 9x13 inch dish. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the next layer.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Fold in half of the whipped topping.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
  5. In another bowl, whisk pudding mix and milk until thickened (about 2 minutes). Spread over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Top with the remaining whipped topping and smooth the surface.
  7. Sprinkle extra crushed Oreos or chocolate shavings on top if desired.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese, sugar-free pudding, or light whipped topping.
  • You can substitute chocolate pudding with vanilla, cheesecake, or mint chocolate for a fun twist.
  • Homemade whipped cream can be used, but make sure it's stabilized if prepping ahead.
  • Dessert is best served cold—no baking or reheating needed.
