Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until soft and fragrant.
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water, soy sauce, bay leaves, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add elbow macaroni and continue to simmer for 15 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
- Remove bay leaves, stir, and serve warm.

- For a lighter version, substitute ground beef with ground turkey.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for more nutrition.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese before serving for a cheesy twist.
