Description

These Rolo Pretzels with M&M Candies are an easy and festive Christmas treat that combines salty pretzels with gooey melted Rolo chocolates and colorful M&M toppings. Perfect for holiday parties or family snacks, they come together quickly and make a delightful sweet and salty bite-sized dessert everyone will love.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 30 waffle pretzels
  • 30 Rolo candies
  • 30 M&M candies
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for melting the chocolate Rolos on the pretzels.
  2. Arrange Pretzels: Line a baking sheet with a Silpat or parchment paper and neatly arrange the 30 waffle pretzels on it with some spacing.
  3. Add Rolo Candies: Place one Rolo candy on top of each pretzel square. You may substitute Hershey kisses if preferred.
  4. Melt Chocolate: Bake in the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes, just until the Rolo candies start to soften and melt but not fully liquify.
  5. Add M&M Toppings: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately press one M&M candy into the center of each melted Rolo on the pretzels.
  6. Add Sprinkles (Optional): If desired, sprinkle with festive sprinkles for extra decoration and flavor.
  7. Cool Completely: Allow the chocolate pretzels to cool completely so the chocolate hardens. You can speed this up by refrigerating them if you are short on time.

Notes

  • Use fresh pretzels and Rolos to avoid stale or overly hard candies.
  • Do not overbake; melting should take no longer than 5 minutes to prevent a caramel mess.
  • This recipe can be adapted by swapping in different holiday candies and sprinkles to suit the occasion.
  • Chilling the pretzels after baking helps the chocolate set faster if you want to serve sooner.
