Ingredients
- 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 32 oz frozen tater tots
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Cooking spray or butter, for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cook ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- Reduce heat and stir in cream cheese until melted and combined.
- Spread the sausage mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the sausage mixture.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Pour egg mixture evenly over the tater tots.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
