Description

These Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups combine classic breakfast ingredients in a warm crescent roll, creating a convenient and satisfying morning meal.

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 8 fully cooked breakfast sausage links
  • 4 slices (sandwich-size) Cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat the eggs in a small bowl and reserve 2 tablespoons for brushing. Scramble the remaining eggs in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. Cut each cheese slice in half. Place one half on each dough triangle.
  5. Add a spoonful of scrambled eggs and one sausage link to each triangle.
  6. Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end.
  7. Place roll-ups on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush tops with reserved egg and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • Swap Cheddar with Swiss, Monterey Jack, or Pepper Jack for variety.
  • Add sautéed vegetables for a vegetarian version.
  • Add hot sauce or red pepper flakes to eggs for spice.
  • Incorporate fresh herbs like chives or parsley for extra flavor.
