Description

S’mores Rice Krispies Treats Pinwheels are a no-bake dessert that combines the classic flavors of s’mores—graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate—into a soft and chewy rolled treat with a fun pinwheel design.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter (plus more for greasing)
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup marshmallow creme
  • 4 Hershey’s chocolate bars (or equivalent amount of milk chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan with butter and line it with wax paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the miniature marshmallows and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal and graham cracker crumbs until evenly coated.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Spread the marshmallow creme over the set cereal mixture using a spatula.
  6. Lay the chocolate bars on top and place the pan in a 200°F oven for a few minutes to soften the chocolate.
  7. Spread the melted chocolate into an even layer and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  8. Starting from the long edge, roll the mixture into a tight log, peeling off the wax paper and sealing the edge.
  9. Refrigerate the roll seam-side down for 30 to 45 minutes until the chocolate is firm.
  10. Slice the chilled log into pinwheel pieces and serve.

Notes

  • Add a thin layer of peanut butter before the marshmallow creme for extra flavor.
  • Use dark chocolate for a richer taste.
  • Mini chocolate chips can be used instead of chocolate bars for easier spreading.
  • Flavored marshmallows add a unique twist.
  • Decorate with colorful nonpareils or crushed candy for a festive touch.
