Description

This Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is an easy, no-mix dessert that combines the rich creaminess of cheesecake with sweet strawberry pie filling and a golden buttery cake topping. Perfect for potlucks, holidays, or cozy nights in, this dump cake recipe comes together in under an hour and tastes like it came straight from a bakery.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans strawberry pie filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, sliced into thin pats
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. Cube the cream cheese and scatter it over the filling.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top.
  5. Arrange butter slices on top to cover as much of the surface as possible.
  6. Drizzle vanilla extract over the top if using.
  7. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute strawberry with cherry or blueberry pie filling.
  • Spice cake mix adds a warm, seasonal twist.
  • Add white chocolate chips before baking for extra richness.
  • Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for a perfect finish.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
