Description

This Strawberry Cold Foam recipe is a quick and delightful way to elevate your iced beverages with a sweet, creamy, and fruity topping. Made with cold heavy cream, milk, strawberry jam, and a hint of vanilla, it can be effortlessly whipped into a light, airy foam using a frother, shaker, or blender. Perfect for adding a refreshing and flavorful layer to your coffee or tea.

Ingredients

Cold Foam Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp heavy cream, cold (30g)
  • 2 Tbsp milk of choice, cold (30g) (nonfat milk recommended)
  • 1 Tbsp strawberry jam (6g)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract (2g)
  • Pinch fine salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Gather 2 tablespoons of cold heavy cream, 2 tablespoons of cold milk, 1 tablespoon of strawberry jam, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla bean paste or extract, and an optional pinch of fine salt for flavor balancing.
  2. Aerate the mixture: Pour all the ingredients into a tall glass or sealable jar. Use a milk frother to aerate the mixture until it slightly increases in volume and becomes thicker yet still pourable. Alternatively, shake vigorously in a sealed jar or briefly blend in a blender if a frother is unavailable. Be careful not to overwhip to maintain a light, pourable texture.
  3. Serve and enjoy: Pour the freshly made strawberry cold foam on top of your favorite iced coffee or tea. Serve immediately for the best consistency and flavor.

Notes

  • Using a milk frother produces the best texture, but shaking or blending also work.
  • Do not overwhip the foam; it should remain pourable and not stiff.
  • This cold foam is best served fresh and is not recommended for making ahead as it will lose consistency.
  • The recipe can be doubled or tripled as needed.
  • Use cold ingredients to achieve proper aeration and foam stability.
