These Strawberry Kiss Cookies—also known as Strawberry Blossoms—are soft, pink, and packed with sweet strawberry flavor, topped with a melty chocolate kiss. Made with cake mix for convenience, they’re festive, fun, and perfect for Valentine’s Day, parties, or cookie swaps. A dreamy strawberry and chocolate combo everyone loves!
Ingredients
- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- Granulated sugar (for rolling)
- 24–30 chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix and flour.
- Add oil, eggs, and milk. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Cover and chill the dough for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop dough and roll into balls. Coat each ball in granulated sugar.
- Place on baking sheet and bake 8–10 minutes, until edges are set and tops are cracked.
- Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each warm cookie.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

- Chill the dough for best shape and texture.
- Freeze kisses before baking so they hold shape better.
- Add strawberry extract for more intense flavor.
