Ingredients
- ½ cup salted butter, room temperature (1 stick)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- (Optional: a pinch of salt if using unsalted butter)
Instructions
- Let butter come to room temperature so it's soft and easy to mix.
- In a bowl, add the softened butter, honey, and ground cinnamon.
- Use an electric hand mixer to beat until smooth and whipped in texture.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or cinnamon if desired (add more honey or cinnamon to preference).
- Transfer to serving dish; serve at room temperature or chilled, depending on preference.
Notes
- If using unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt to balance the flavor.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- You can freeze the butter, tightly wrapped, for up to 3 months; thaw in refrigerator.
- Use this with warm rolls, pancakes, waffles, sweet potatoes, or anywhere you enjoy sweet, spiced butter.
