Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar (for the glaze)
- 1 1/2 tbsp additional lemon juice (for the glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line or grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract; stir until combined.
- Fold in flour and salt; mix until smooth and lump-free.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes until edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While cooling, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to make a glaze.
- Pour glaze over warm brownies and spread evenly.
- Let cool completely, then cut into squares and serve.
