Description

This article features two refreshing iced coffee recipes: a smooth and creamy Vanilla Iced Latte and a rich, chocolatey Mocha Iced Coffee. Both beverages combine coffee with milk and sweet flavors, served over ice for a perfect chilled pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Vanilla Iced Latte

  • 1 shot espresso
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla syrup
  • 1 cup ice

Mocha Iced Coffee

  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp sweetener (such as sugar or a sugar substitute)
  • Ice (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Vanilla Iced Latte: Fill a glass with 1 cup of ice. Pour 1 shot of freshly brewed espresso over the ice, followed by 1 cup of milk. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla syrup and stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and chilled.
  2. Prepare Mocha Iced Coffee: In a cup, mix 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 1 teaspoon of sweetener into 1 cup of warm brewed coffee until completely dissolved. Pour this chocolate coffee mixture over a glass filled with ice. Add ½ cup of milk and stir well to combine and chill.

Notes

  • Use freshly brewed espresso for best flavor in the Vanilla Iced Latte.
  • Warm the coffee slightly when dissolving cocoa powder and sweetener for a smoother blend.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more or less vanilla syrup or sweetener.
  • Use any type of milk (dairy or plant-based) to suit dietary preferences.
  • For a stronger coffee flavor, increase the espresso shot or coffee concentration as desired.
