Description

A warm, creamy dessert dip inspired by apple pie, topped with a sweet pecan‑graham streusel.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp all‑purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp apple pie spice
  • 2 tbsp cold butter, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tbsp graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans
  • 8 oz light cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (for the dip)
  • 1 tbsp apple pie spice (for the dip)
  • 1 1/4 cups chopped apples, divided
  • Fresh apple slices and graham crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (about 175 °C). Spray a small, shallow baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Make the streusel: In a medium bowl combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and apple pie spice. Cut in the cold butter until mixture is crumbly. Stir in graham cracker crumbs and chopped pecans. Refrigerate until needed.
  3. Make the dip base: In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the 2 tbsp brown sugar and 1 tbsp apple pie spice until smooth. Stir in ¾ cup chopped apples.
  4. Spread the cream cheese‑apple mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining apples (¼ cup) on top.
  5. Top with the prepared streusel mixture.
  6. Bake for 12‑15 minutes, or until heated through and the topping is golden.
  7. Serve warm, with fresh apple slices and graham crackers for dipping.

Notes

  • You can chill the streusel ahead of time after mixing, to save prep when ready to bake.
  • If you like a stronger spice flavor, increase the apple pie spice slightly.
  • Use tart apples like Granny Smith for good contrast; sweeter apples will make the dip overall sweeter.
  • Serve immediately after baking for best texture; leftovers can be reheated gently.
