Description

This vibrant watermelon slushie is a refreshing summer treat made with just frozen watermelon, lime juice, and your favorite sweetener. It's hydrating, quick to make, and completely customizable.

Ingredients

  • 7 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and frozen
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup sweetener (maple syrup, honey, brown sugar, or granulated sugar)
  • 510 Tbsp cold water, as needed for blending
  • Optional garnish: watermelon wedge, fresh mint or basil, lime slices

Instructions

  1. Cube the watermelon and freeze in a single layer for about 2 hours.
  2. In a high-powered blender, combine frozen watermelon, lime juice, sweetener, and about 3 Tbsp cold water. Blend for 3–5 minutes until smooth.
  3. If the mixture is too thick, add more water. If too runny, add a few extra frozen watermelon cubes and blend again.
  4. Serve immediately in cold glasses, garnished with a watermelon wedge, mint or basil, and lime slices if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetener based on the sweetness of your watermelon.
  • Blend in fresh herbs or additional fruits for variations.
  • Leftovers can be frozen and re-blended later.
