Description
These Air Fryer Almond Butter Cookies are a quick, easy, and delicious treat made with just three simple ingredients—creamy almond butter, sugar, and an egg. Using the air fryer allows for a speedy bake with a wonderfully soft and chewy texture, perfect for satisfying your cookie cravings in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
Cookie Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy almond butter
- ¾ cup white granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the almond butter, sugar, and egg. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and fully blended.
- Prepare Air Fryer Basket: Cut a sheet of parchment paper to fit your air fryer basket. Make sure to use only a single layer of parchment paper to avoid any of the cookies flipping while cooking.
- Portion Cookies: Using a small cookie scoop, place four cookies onto the parchment paper in the basket, spacing them about 2 inches apart for room to expand.
- Shape the Cookies: Lightly press the top of each cookie with a fork in one direction and then again in the opposite direction to create a classic crisscross pattern. Be gentle to avoid breaking the dough and to lightly flatten the cookies without making them too thin.
- Air Fry: Cook the cookies at 370°F (185°C) for 6.5 to 7 minutes. Once done, carefully remove the basket and let the cookies cool undisturbed for 10 minutes in the basket.
- Cool Cookies: Transfer the cooled cookies to a fresh piece of parchment paper to finish cooling completely.
- Repeat: Repeat the process for the remaining dough. Enjoy your freshly made almond butter cookies!
Notes
- Be careful not to fold the parchment paper up the sides of the air fryer basket to avoid cookies flipping during cooking.
- Allow cookies to cool fully to help them set properly and prevent breaking.
- Use a small cookie scoop for consistent cookie sizing.
- Cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
