Description

A handheld wrap version of the classic Caesar salad with romaine, chicken, creamy dressing, Parmesan, and croutons, all wrapped up in a soft tortilla.


Ingredients

  • Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • Cooked chicken (grilled, fried, or rotisserie), chopped
  • Caesar dressing
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Homemade or store-bought croutons
  • Large (10″) flour tortillas or wraps
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, toss together lettuce, chicken, dressing, Parmesan, and croutons. Season with salt and pepper and taste—adjust dressing if desired.
  2. Warm tortillas in a skillet (15–30 seconds per side) or microwave between damp paper towels to prevent tearing.
  3. Lay tortillas flat, divide the Caesar mixture among them in the center.
  4. Fold in opposite sides, then roll up like a burrito. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  5. Cut in half if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add halved grape or cherry tomatoes for a juicy twist
  • Top with avocado slices for creaminess
  • Use spinach or whole wheat tortillas for variety
  • Mix in roasted red peppers or artichokes for extra flavor
