Description
A handheld wrap version of the classic Caesar salad with romaine, chicken, creamy dressing, Parmesan, and croutons, all wrapped up in a soft tortilla.
Ingredients
- Romaine lettuce, chopped
- Cooked chicken (grilled, fried, or rotisserie), chopped
- Caesar dressing
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Homemade or store-bought croutons
- Large (10″) flour tortillas or wraps
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, toss together lettuce, chicken, dressing, Parmesan, and croutons. Season with salt and pepper and taste—adjust dressing if desired.
- Warm tortillas in a skillet (15–30 seconds per side) or microwave between damp paper towels to prevent tearing.
- Lay tortillas flat, divide the Caesar mixture among them in the center.
- Fold in opposite sides, then roll up like a burrito. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.
- Cut in half if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- Add halved grape or cherry tomatoes for a juicy twist
- Top with avocado slices for creaminess
- Use spinach or whole wheat tortillas for variety
- Mix in roasted red peppers or artichokes for extra flavor
