Description

This rich and creamy Chocolate Egg Pudding combines hard-boiled eggs with milk, honey, cacao powder, and chocolate protein powder for a unique, protein-packed dessert. Blended to a smooth consistency and chilled for optimal flavor, it's a nutritious and satisfying treat that can be enjoyed as a snack or dessert with optional toppings like whipped cream or berries.

Ingredients

Pudding Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
  • 120 grams milk (any kind; unsweetened coconut milk recommended)
  • 70 grams honey
  • 35 grams cacao powder
  • 50 grams chocolate protein powder (2 scoops; example: Equip chocolate beef-isolate protein)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the peeled hard-boiled eggs, milk, honey, cacao powder, chocolate protein powder, and vanilla extract into a blender to prepare for mixing.
  2. Blend Thoroughly: Blend the mixture for 15 seconds, then scrape down the sides and bottom of the blender to ensure even mixing. Blend for another 15 seconds, scrape again, and finally blend for an additional 40 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  3. Chill the Pudding: Though the pudding can be eaten immediately, it achieves the best flavor and texture after resting in the refrigerator until chilled, preferably overnight.
  4. Serve: Serve the chilled pudding as is, or enhance it with your choice of toppings such as whipped cream, shaved dark chocolate, or fresh berries for added flavor and presentation.

Notes

  • Using unsweetened coconut milk adds a subtle tropical flavor and keeps the pudding dairy-free.
  • Ensure eggs are well boiled and peeled properly for a smooth texture in the pudding.
  • The protein powder used is beef isolate chocolate flavor, but you can substitute with any chocolate-flavored protein powder to your preference.
  • The pudding tastes better after being chilled, so plan ahead to refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
  • Optional toppings like whipped cream or berries add a nice contrast and elevate the dessert presentation.
