Ingredients
Fresh Ingredients
- 1 bunch Cilantro (stems and all)
- 1-2 Limes (juiced)
- 1-2 Jalapeño peppers (stem removed)
- 5-10 cloves Garlic
Condiments
- 2 cups Mayonnaise (Hellman's or Duke's preferred)
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Rinse the cilantro thoroughly, and remove the stems if preferred though stems add flavor. Juice 1 to 2 limes depending on your taste preference. Remove the stems from the jalapeño peppers and roughly chop for easier blending. Peel the garlic cloves.
- Blend Sauce: Add the cilantro (including stems), lime juice, jalapeño, garlic cloves, and mayonnaise into a high-speed blender. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary to ensure even mixing.
- Transfer and Serve: Pour the blended sauce into a squeeze bottle or airtight container for easy use. Refrigerate if not serving immediately. Use this sauce to add a creamy, tangy kick to your favorite dishes and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust the number of jalapeños depending on how spicy you like your sauce.
- You can substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
- This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a tablespoon of water or lime juice to thin it out.
- Perfect for tacos, grilled chicken, salads, and sandwiches.
