Description

A quick and delicious Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese sandwich combining savory garlic butter with a melty blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, perfect for a comforting meal in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Garlic Butter Mixture

  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Sandwich

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

  1. Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until everything is well combined and smooth.
  2. Butter the Bread: Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread, making sure to cover all the way to the edges.
  3. Assemble the Sandwiches: Flip two slices butter-side down on a clean surface and sprinkle half the cheese evenly on each slice. Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up, to form two complete sandwiches.
  4. Start Cooking: Heat a large skillet over low heat and carefully place both sandwiches in the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the bottom side is golden brown and crispy.
  5. Flip and Finish: Using a spatula, carefully flip each sandwich and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
  6. Serve Hot: Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and serve immediately while the cheese is gooey and the bread is perfectly crispy.

Notes

  • Use low heat to ensure the bread toasts evenly without burning while giving the cheese enough time to melt.
  • You can substitute any favorite cheese blend if desired.
  • For extra flavor, add sliced tomatoes or cooked bacon inside before grilling.
  • Serve with marinara sauce or a simple salad for a complete meal.
