Instructions
- Thaw and blend the fruit: Remove the frozen fruit from the freezer and allow it to thaw for 30 minutes at room temperature or microwave for 30 seconds to soften slightly. Add the thawed fruit to a blender along with the specified amount of water, freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice, and honey or agave. Blend the mixture until it is completely smooth and well combined.
- Fill the popsicle molds: Using a funnel to avoid spills, carefully pour the blended fruit mixture into popsicle sleeves or molds. Make sure to fill each mold evenly to ensure uniform freezing.
- Freeze until solid: Place the filled molds into the freezer and allow them to freeze completely. This typically takes about 8 hours or overnight for the popsicles to harden perfectly.
Notes
- For best flavor, use fresh lemon or lime juice rather than bottled.
- You can substitute honey with agave syrup for a vegan-friendly option.
- Adding fresh mint leaves to the kiwi pineapple blend gives a beautiful color and a refreshing taste.
- If you don’t have popsicle sleeves, you can use small paper cups and popsicle sticks as an alternative.
- Freezer pops are best consumed within 1-2 weeks for optimal freshness.
