Ingredients

Feta Roll Filling

Phyllo Rolls

  • 16-20 sheets frozen phyllo dough, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, plus more for brushing

Chili Honey Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon salted butter
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1-2 teaspoons chili flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1/3 cup honey


Instructions

  1. Preheat and prepare baking sheet: Preheat the oven to 425° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
  2. Mix the filling: In a medium bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, fresh chopped dill, and grated garlic until well incorporated.
  3. Prepare phyllo sheets and roll: Place one sheet of thawed phyllo dough on a clean surface and gently fold it in half crosswise. Brush the edges with olive oil to help seal the dough. At one short end, spoon about one rounded tablespoon of the feta filling. Carefully roll the dough over the filling, folding the side edges inward to seal, similar to a burrito.
