Description

A refreshing and vibrant sparkling fruit punch featuring tart Granny Smith apples, fresh cranberries, green grapes, and pomegranate seeds mixed with chilled sparkling white grape juice. Perfect for festive gatherings or a light, fruity beverage to serve immediately.

Ingredients

Fruit

  • 2 Granny Smith apples, chopped
  • 1 cup whole fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup green grapes, halved
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds

Liquid

  • 1 cup sparkling grape juice, chilled
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) sparkling white grape juice, chilled

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Wash all the fruit thoroughly. Chop the Granny Smith apples into bite-sized pieces and halve the green grapes to ensure easy serving and optimal texture.
  2. Combine in a pitcher: In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the chopped apples, whole cranberries, halved grapes, and pomegranate seeds. This mixture creates a colorful and flavorful base for the punch.
  3. Add sparkling juices: Just before serving, pour in 1 cup of sparkling grape juice and the entire 750 ml bottle of sparkling white grape juice. This adds the effervescent, sweet-tart flavor that brightens the punch.
  4. Mix and serve: Gently stir the mixture to combine without bruising the fruit. Serve immediately by spooning some of the fruit pieces into each glass along with the sparkling juice.

Notes

  • Use tart Granny Smith apples to balance the sweetness of the sparkling grape juice.
  • Serve immediately after adding sparkling juice to retain the bubbles and fresh fruit texture.
  • Chilling the sparkling grape juice beforehand ensures the punch is refreshing right away.
  • Can be made ahead by preparing the fruit mixture and storing it chilled, then adding sparkling juice just before serving.
