Ingredients
Dill Dip
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups dill dip (store-bought or homemade, see notes below)
Vegetables
- 2 cups snap peas
- 3 bell peppers, sliced
- 6 stalks celery, sliced
- 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
Instructions
- Prepare the dip: If making homemade dill dip, mix all dip ingredients thoroughly to create a smooth and flavorful base for the veggie cups.
- Add dip to cups: Place about 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons of the dill dip evenly in the bottom of each of the 12 serving cups.
- Slice vegetables: Wash and slice snap peas, bell peppers, celery, and carrots into thin, bite-sized pieces suitable for dipping and easy eating.
- Thread cherry tomatoes: Skewer cherry tomatoes onto toothpicks or small bamboo skewers to keep them handy and add visual appeal.
- Assemble cups: Divide the sliced vegetables and skewered cherry tomatoes evenly among the 12 cups, standing them upright as much as possible.
- Chill and serve: Cover the cups and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve chilled for the freshest taste and crunch.
Notes
- Use your favorite store-bought dill dip or make a homemade version using sour cream, mayonnaise, fresh dill, garlic, lemon juice, and seasonings.
- These veggie cups can be prepared a few hours in advance and stored covered in the fridge for convenience.
- Feel free to substitute or add other fresh vegetables like cucumber slices, radishes, or broccoli florets based on your preference.
