Ingredients
Noodles and Sauce
- 2 packs of Buldak Ramen - Carbonara flavor
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- Whiskey Smoked Sea Salt (to season boiling water)
- Water (enough to boil noodles)
Protein
- 2 chicken tenders, cooked and seasoned with Willie Pete Chicken Seasoning
Instructions
- Boil Water: Fill a pot with water and add Whiskey Smoked Sea Salt. Place the pot on high heat and bring the water to a rolling boil.
- Prepare Sauce Mixture: While the water heats, crack the two eggs and separate the yolks from the whites, placing only the yolks into an empty serving bowl.
- Add Seasonings: Open the ramen packages and add all sauce packets (liquid) and powder/seasoning packets directly into the bowl with the egg yolks.
- Combine Ingredients: Add 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of minced garlic to the bowl and mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
- Cook Noodles: Once the water is boiling, add the two blocks of dried noodles and boil for approximately 5 to 5.5 minutes or until al dente.
- Reserve Pasta Water: Before draining the noodles, carefully scoop out 1 cup of the boiling pasta water.
- Make Creamy Broth: Pour the hot reserved pasta water into the bowl with the egg yolk and seasoning mixture; mix vigorously with a spoon or whisk to slightly cook the yolks and melt the mayonnaise, creating a creamy emulsified sauce.
- Drain Noodles: Drain the remaining water from the noodles thoroughly.
- Toss Noodles in Sauce: Immediately add the cooked noodles to the bowl with the creamy sauce, tossing well to coat all the noodles evenly.
- Prepare Chicken: Slice the pre-cooked chicken tenders seasoned with Willie Pete Chicken Seasoning.
- Assemble and Serve: Place the sliced chicken atop the noodles and serve immediately while steaming hot.
Notes

- Reserve some pasta water to help emulsify and loosen the sauce.
- Boil noodles until al dente to maintain texture.
- Using pre-cooked seasoned chicken speeds up preparation time.
- Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
